We continue to roll out our new Rv2 versions. We now offer the new PPF-400Rv2 as well as the PPF-800Rv2. We have been waiting and searching for a new generation of LEDs we could use and these new LEDs were just what we have been waiting for. The 800Rv2 uses new thin film hyper-red LEDs from OSRAM and a new warm white LED. The white gives off more lumens per watt then HPS and when combined with the hyper red LEDs the yield per watt is greatly improved. You should know that LEDs keep getting better with each new generation - it's like processors, memory and other semiconductor products - they improve each year. These new LEDs are nothing like older, out of date technology.
HPS lighting can cost $100 or more per month to operate in high cost areas like California; using our LEDs can dramatically cut that cost. Though you may have to make a few changes to your process, the results will be worth it: a high quality yield without a high power bill.
